A familiar building in Crosslee has had a rather unusual transformation over the past few days!

The Alvic Wardrobes showroom, located at Suite 1, The Old Mill, Houston Road, Crosslee, Houston, was selected as a filming location for a new BBC drama.

For the last five days, the showroom was temporarily transformed into a police station, with the production team using the building as a filming location while cameras rolled.

But the filming has now wrapped up, and from today the building returns to its normal use as the Alvic Wardrobes showroom.

It’s another fascinating example of how locations across Renfrewshire can be transformed for film and television productions – sometimes making you look twice at buildings you pass every day! 🎥
