Detectives are appealing for information following a wilful fire in Paisley.
Around 3pm on Thursday, 13 August, 2026, we received a report of a fire at a flat on Netherhill Road.
Emergency services attended, and the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
No injuries were reported.
Detective Sergeant Daniel Small said: “Luckily no one was injured as a result of this incident, and our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“I am appealing to anyone in the area who saw something suspicious or has any information to come forward and speak to officers.
“I’d also ask that those who live locally with dash-cam or private CCTV review their footage to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
