You are likely aware of the new road layout on Renfrew Road to support the new Paisley Grammar School Community Campus. The school opens tomorrow Thursday (20 August).
The new junction is also open and new traffic signals and pedestrian crossings are switched on. The junction links Renfrew Road with New Grammar Road (the new road to access the school).
These road improvements have been delivered as part of the Council’s wider AMIDS South project. It will bring improved transport links between Paisley town centre, the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland and Glasgow Airport.
We’ve also delivered a package of changes to improve Renfrew Road as a route for pedestrians.
If you’re travelling through the area, please take extra care while everyone gets used to the new layout. Pupils walking to school should use pedestrian crossings and the Gallowhill Link underpass to cross Renfrew Road safely.
