It’s been a particularly busy 24 hours for accidents across Paisley, with a number of incidents keeping emergency services busy.
Glasgow Airport’s fire service was placed on standby for the arrival of KLM flight PH-BXV, “The Flying Dutchman”, after an issue was discovered on the aircraft.

Around the same time, an accident was reported on Renfrew Road at Paisley Retail Park, before a multiple-vehicle crash on Caplethill Road occurred just moments later.
And the incidents haven’t stopped there.
This morning has already seen another crash on Ferguslie Park Avenue, adding to what has been an unusually busy period for emergency services and motorists across the town.
Motorists are being urged to take extra care on the roads and expect possible delays while incidents are dealt with.
