The holidays are over, the summer has flown,
And Paisley Grammar now looks brand new!
The doors are wide open, the bells start to ring,
And pupils are wondering, “Where’s everything?”

A shiny new school with corridors bright,
But finding your classroom could take half the night!
“Is this the science room? Is this where I should be?”
“No idea!” says a teacher, “Just follow me!”

The pencils are sharpened, the schoolbags are packed,
The homework excuses are already stacked!
“I left it at home!” “My dog ate it too!”
“Sir, I’ve got absolutely no idea what to do!”

The teachers are smiling, pretending they’re calm,
While pupils explore every corridor and arm.
There’s buttons to press and new doors to try—
“Don’t touch that!” shouts someone… “I wonder why?”

So good luck to everyone starting today,
At Paisley Grammar — hip, hip hooray!
New school, new memories, new things to learn,
And maybe by Friday… you’ll know where to turn!
