A vehicle reported stolen from Glasgow has been recovered in Paisley after being traced by Glasgow #RoadPolicingofficers.

The 2019-registered black Nissan Juke was reported stolen from the Craigend area of Glasgow on 13 May 2026.

Four months later, at around 5.15pm on Sunday, 13 September, Road Policing officers traced the vehicle parked on George Street, Paisley.

Officers discovered that the Nissan Juke was displaying false registration plates.

The vehicle has since been seized by police, with further enquiries now underway.

The recovery highlights how stolen vehicles can remain on the road for months and may be concealed through the use of false registration plates.
