It’s been a busy day for the Royal Family around Paisley, with The Duke of Gloucester making three visits across the area today.
The Duke began his visit at the Finding Your Feet Charity Hub at St James House, St James’ Street, Paisley, where he met with staff, volunteers and those involved with the charity.
He then visited Sight Scotland’s Hawkhead Centre on Hawkhead Road, where he was able to meet people supported by the organisation and hear more about the work carried out at the centre.
The Duke’s final stop took him to Terumo Aortic at Newmains Avenue, Inchinnan, a company specialising in the development and manufacture of medical devices designed to treat diseases affecting the aorta — the main artery carrying blood away from the heart.
The visits provided an opportunity to highlight the work being carried out by charities, community organisations and businesses across Paisley and Renfrewshire, while allowing the Duke to meet the people involved in their day-to-day work.
