A McGill’s bus has crashed on a residential street in Glenburn, Paisley, after the driver is believed to have taken unwell.
The incident happened around 10am yesterday on Limecraigs Crescent, with the McGill’s 26 service leaving the road and coming to a stop outside homes, opposite Langcraigs Primary School.

McGill’s has confirmed that one passenger was on board at the time — but thankfully they were unharmed.
The driver was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
Emergency services, including ambulance crews and a special operations team, attended the scene.

Police Scotland have confirmed that no further investigation into the crash is required.
Thankfully, what could have been a much more serious incident has resulted in no reported injuries to the passenger or anyone else.
