Bargain hunters were out in force today as Kilbarchan Primary School hosted a car boot sale within the school grounds.
The event got off to a slightly delayed start as the rain put a temporary dampener on proceedings, with sellers and shoppers having to wait for the weather to improve.
But the sellers’ persistence paid off.

The skies eventually cleared, giving everyone around an hour of much-improved weather and allowing the car boot sale to get properly underway.
Tables and car boots were soon being browsed as bargain hunters made the most of the brief spell of sunshine, searching for everything from household items and toys to those unexpected treasures that only seem to turn up at a car boot sale.
Despite the weather trying its best to spoil the event, the community spirit — and determination of the sellers — ensured the sale still had its moment.
